The Vertex of Excalibur is a Hardmode upgrade to the previously-top melee sword in the game, Excalibur. Of note, it is about 20% larger than Excalibur, and continues to swing when the attack button is held down.
It has 55 base damage, 17% Critical strike, Very fast attack speed and a Strong Knockback.
To craft, it requires: 1 Excalibur, 1 Night's Edge, 1 Illegal Weapon Instructions, 50 Soul of Height, 10 Corrupted Bar, and 10 Hallowed Bar at a Hallowed Altar.
It is the objective of the Achievement "Night and light... It's a nightlight!"
It is required to make the Superhardmode sword Elemental Excalibur.
Exxo Avalon[]
In the source mod (Exxo Avalon), the Vertex of Excalibur is a powerful hardmode auto-swung sword.
The sword is crafted from 1 Excalibur, 1 Night's Edge, 1 Light Shard, 1 Dark Shard, and a Broken Hero Sword.
It can be thought of as an upgrade to Excalibur, as mentioned before, and it is about as strong as the True Aeon's Eternity. Unlike Excalibur and The Horseman's Blade, the player may turn while swining it.
Like tConfig Avalon, this sword can later be crafted into the Elemental Excalibur.
